Welcome to World of Dance Ireland!
The World of Dance Ireland Competition will take place in O'Reilly Theatre (Dublin 1) on 18 May 2025 - all participating teams will be able to participate in the annual World of Dance Summit (16-21 July 2025) in Los Angeles, California.
World of Dance Ireland Competition
The competition is for teams in any dance style - from Irish dancing to ballet to hip hop - all are welcome!
There are two divisions:
- Junior (all members must be 17 and under)
- All Ages
Teams must have a minimum of five members to participate.
Teams will be scored by a panel of judges expert in different dance styles. The top three teams will receive a trophy - the first-placed team will also receive a cash prize. Teams from Ireland can represent Ireland at the Summit in Los Angeles but teams from anywhere are welcome to participate. (Specific rules about qualifying for the different rounds of the WOD Summit will be issued upon request.)
The schedule will depend on the number of teams participating and we will update all registered dancers when this is finalised.

Teams compete across various divisions with the finest groups earning the opportunity to compete at the World of Dance Finals in Los Angeles.
